About the Orthodox Marketplace
The Orthodox Marketplace is the official online store of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Since 2006 it has been the home for the books, curricula and resources created by the Archdiocese’s ministries and departments.
More than a bookstore
We have grown into a marketplace serving the whole Orthodox Christian community in America. Alongside Archdiocesan publications, we offer:
- books and Bibles from trusted Orthodox publishers;
- icons, including works from the monasteries of Mount Athos;
- crosses and jewelry;
- vestments;
- church and altar supplies;
- gifts for every sacrament and occasion.
Many of our partners are monasteries, iconographers, craftsmen and publishers in Greece and around the world. Through the Orthodox Marketplace, their work reaches parishes and families across the United States.
Serving parishes, educators and the faithful
Our customers are parishes and parish bookstores, clergy, Sunday School and Greek School teachers, and Orthodox Christians shopping for their homes and families. Many of our titles are also available as instant PDF downloads, so teachers and parents can use them right away.
A ministry of the Church
The Orthodox Marketplace is operated by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as a nonprofit ministry. Every purchase supports the work of the Archdiocese and the spread of Orthodox Christian education and culture in America.
