Orthodox Marketplace Shipping & Returns Policy

Please allow for a 24-48 hour turnaround in order fulfillment. Orders are not fulfilled after 3:00 pm EST. Orders are not fulfilled on the weekend. Orders will be processed 24 hours following Federal and Ecclesiastical holidays. 

Shipping within the continental United States

For orders placed via we are pleased to offer several methods for your shipping convenience. At the point of check-out you will be able to select the method that you would prefer for shipment. Shipping costs are based on the quantity/weight of the shipment, as well as its destination. Once the package has been picked up by the selected shipping carrier we are no longer responsible for the order.

General International Policy

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Orthodox Marketplace has no control over these charges, nor can it predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Note: Customs offices in some countries require the importer of record to provide a particular form of identification before releasing a shipment. You may be required to provide an identification number such as a Unique Identification Number, CPF, or Tax ID.

Countries that require an identification number include: Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, India, Israel, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey.

Shipping to Canada

Currently, we offer International shipping to our Canadian customers. This method takes from 2 to 7 business days, depending on your location in Canada. We are currently unable to add GST or HST (when applicable) to your order. Please be aware that there may be additional customs charges. Please check Canada’s customs policies.

International Shipping (outside the United States of America)

Orthodox Marketplace currently offers international shipping to the following locations: Australia, Finland, Greece, Romania, South Africa, Turkey and Zimbabwe using UPS or the USPS.  All international orders require prepayment. For other countries please contact our office at 800-566-1088 or [email protected] to establish a shipping relationship.

Backorders: We do not allow backorders through the online store. If you would like further information about the re-stocking timeline for a particular item please contact our Customer Service Department at [email protected]

Multi-Carton Orders: If your order was shipped in more than one carton, each carton will be marked accordingly. For example "1 of 1" would indicate 1 carton out of 1 carton shipped, "1 of 2" would indicate 1 carton out of 2 cartons shipped, etc. Please remember that multi-carton orders are not always delivered on the same day.


Orthodox Marketplace is happy to offer a "Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy where if you are not completely satisfied with your order, please use the “Return Request Form” to begin the return process, for a return or refund authorization within 30 days of receipt of order.

Return Policy

RETURNS: All standard catalog merchandise may be returned to Orthodox Marketplace within 30 days of the invoice date. Pre-authorization from the Orthodox Marketplace is required before any merchandise can be returned. Please use the “Return Request Form” to begin the return process. In order to receive proper credit from your return, please include the original invoice number. If the invoice number is not provided, and if case lot items were ordered, credit will be based on the case lot price. All returned merchandise must be in clean, re-sellable condition. Any stickered, shopworn and out of print items are not acceptable.

Damaged Merchandise: If you receive an order from Orthodox Marketplace that is damaged, please notify us within 5 business days of the receipt of your order. You may contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-566-1088 to assist you in the return of damaged merchandise. Please remember, you must have a pre-authorization from Orthodox Marketplace to return any merchandise, so do not forget to contact us first! Unauthorized returns will not be given refunds.

Warehouse Mistakes: If you receive an item that was not on your order please contact us at [email protected] and we will discuss the process of sending the items back.

Refunds and Reimbursements: If a credit card was used to purchase the items being returned, a refund will be processed to that credit card. We do not issue checks for returned items or shipping reimbursements
