Elias (Elijah) the Prophet, also known as Elijah, was one of the greatest and holiest prophets. He was faithful to God and, through miracles of fire and rain was able to lead people to believe in the true God. According to the Tradition of the Holy Church, the Prophet Elijah will be the Forerunner of the Dread Second Coming of Christ. He will proclaim the truth of Christ, urge all to repentance, and will be slain by the Antichrist.
