Saint Hypomone (meaning "patience") at the age of 19 married Manuel II Palaiologos and together they made eight children. She extremely loved her people and she always prayed to face the national dangers. After the death of her husband she became a nun (1425 AD). Saint Hypomone celebrates on 29 May.
