Description
This first comprehensive work on Scripture, tradition, and hermeneutics by an Orthodox biblical scholar is a masterpiece in the literal sense. It is the finely crafted product of a mature master who knows, loves, and respects his subject, the work of his fellow scholars, and the seeking and thinking believers for whom he writes. This work is a rare and precious example of what "following the fathers" can mean for us today. THOMAS HOPKO
