Description
Central Icon: Virgin Mary sweet kissing is one of the most familiar depictions, the Cretan painters of the 15th and 16th century used to reproduce this icon in its most popular versions. Emmanuel Lombardos the great painter of post-Byzantine icons lived in the second half of the 16th century. The original is exhibited at the Benaki Museum.
