Description
A series of Scripture readings about the Nativity of Christ and an excerpt from the Kontakion for the Nativity by Romanos the Melodist, interspersed with Orthodox hymns of Christmas and traditional Christmas carols. Not a _play in the typical understanding of a pageant, but a program that can utilize adults, choirs, soloists and readers. Can be a separate program during the Christmas season that can become an outreach tool of a parish to invite the community to experience the Orthodox Church at Christmas.
