Hand painted icon - presentation of the miracle of Saint Nicholas, made in Mount Athos, on natural wood. The icon is delivered in a wooden box.
Saint Nicholas was born in the 3rd century AD in Patara, Lycia. He was Archbishop of Myron and took part in the First Ecumenical Council. He occurred many miracles while he lived, but also after his death in 330 AD. He is considered patron saint of the seamen. Saint Nicholas celebrates on December 6th. The icon depicts the miracle of the resurrection of a sailor.
